Big FM partners MediaCorp Radio; to be on air from July 1

New Delhi, Jun 24 (UNI) Anil Ambani-led Big FM is set to launch a FM radio station in Singapore that will broadcast Indian film music, news and other entertainment trivia in a collaborative venture with local station MediaCorp Radio.

The station, to be called Big Bollywood 96.3 FM, goes on air on July 1.

''This is the first time an Indian FM station is going offshore.

The channel will play celebrity interviews, songs, gossip,'' BIG 92.7 FM Chief Operating Officer Tarun Katial said.

The radio station will broadcast programmes everyday from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, which will include Bollywood Hits from the year 2000 onwards.

FM 96.3, The International Channel, currently carries a range of broadcast programmes in Japanese, German, French, and Korean.
