Anantkumar blames Centre for agrarian crisis

Hubli, June 24 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party General Secretary Anantkumar said today accused UPA government of failing to tackle the problems dogging the farmers leading to their suicides as well as skyrocketing inflation and rise in terrorist activities.

Talking to newsmen here, he said the final count down for the collapse of UPA government at centre has begun.

"The famous trio economists -- Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Finance minister P Chidambaram and Planning Commission Deputy Chairman Montek Singh Ahluwalia, have spoiled the entire economy of the country," he alleged.

He blamed the Union government the fertilizer crisis in Karnataka over and said though the Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa had personally met the Prime Minister and Fertilizer Minister Ram Vilas Paswan and appealed for supply of fertilizer, both the leaders had failed to respond, he alleged.
