Two Amarnath pilgrims among 3 killed in Kashmir
Srinagar, Jun 23 (UNI) At least three Amarnath pilgrims were killed and six others injured when a vehicle carrying them met with an accident on Baltal-Srinagar road today, official sources said.
They said a Tata Sumo, on way to Srinagar from Baltal, fell into river Sindh at Koker bridge after hitting another vehicle coming from the opposite direction.
The deceased have been identified as Imtiyaz Ahmad the driver, CRPF inspector Durjan and Naresh Kumar, resident of Mir Bazar, Jalandhar. The CRPF jawan was also returning after having darshan at the holy Cave.
The injured have been admitted to hospital, sources said.
