New York, June 23 : Rosanna Arquette has revealed that a scene she filmed for 'Crash' was so embarrassing that the director had to scrape it off.
In an interview with Night magazine, the red-haired star said that she had to do a sex-scene in a car with James Spader for David Cronenberg's twisted "Crash," after she gave birth to her daughter, Zoe Blue.
However, the scene went awry and they had to eventually cut it out.
"My daughter was just one year old when I made 'Crash' . . . I had to go immediately into a car and do a love scene with [Spader]," The New York Post quoted Arquette, as telling the mag.
She added: "And I was breastfeeding and Cronenberg kept staring at me, like in this weird way, and I said, 'What? What?' And he goes, 'I'm really hoping you'll lactate.' . . .
"At one point, while we were Filming, I screamed and my poor milk just shot off. I [said] to him, 'Oh, I think you may have gone too far' . . .
"He cut [the scene] and later sent that little bit of film to me . . . I remember saying to [him] . . . 'Well, you cut out the most significant thing I have ever done on film."
Crash is a notorious NC-17 flick about perverts who stage car accidents to get sexually excited.
