Bhubaneswar, Jun 23 (UNI) The Orissa government today decided to open residential primary schools in 277 scheduled area Gram Panchayats for spread of education among the Scheduled Caste.
The decision was taken by Chief Minsiter Naveen Patnaik.
Official sources here said the schools would be opened where no residential schools or hostels exist.
Each hostel would house 40 students studying in class one to five, the sources said.
