Maid arrested in drugging case
New Delhi, Jun 23 (UNI) The Delhi police today claimed to have solved the May 11 robbery case, wherein the domestic help of the house made away with cash and valuables after drugging the employers, with the arrest of maid and her boyfriend.
Lucy Minz drugged her employers Saloni Mahajan and Saran Suri in the house and escaped with valubles and cash.
She was arrested with her accomplice Rahul Pal on Friday, Deputy Comissioner of Police (DCP), South District, H G S Dhaliwal told reporters here.
He said investigations revealed that Minz was employed through Ujjwal Man-Power consultant in East of Kailash for the last two years and there was no doubt about her behaviour.
Further investigations also revealed that Minz was hiding in Sunder Garh area in Orissa to evade arrest. Subsequenty, a team was sent to Orissa and raid was conducted in possible hideouts which led to her arrest.
During sustained interrogation, she confessed to her involvement, saying two days before the crime, Rahul Pal (her boyfriend) visited the house and gave her a powder of sleeping pills, which minz added in food. Later, she called Rahul to the house and fled away with two laptops, mobile phones, credit cards, Rs 11,000, and jewellery.
