Kerala receives heavy rains
Thiruvananthapuram, Jun 23 (UNI) The South-West Monsoon has revived in Kerala with most parts of the state and a few places in Lakshadweep receiving heavy rains.
According to local weather office, Kanjirappally and Thalassery reported the highest rainfall of seven cm each.
The other chief amounts of rainfall recorded in cm were Ottappalam six, Mannarakkad and Nilambur four each and Kannur, Karippur airport and Koilandy two each.
Rain or thundershowers would occur in most places in the state and the Union Territory during the next 48 hours, it added.
