'Jammu Darshan' bus service soon
Jammu, Jun 23 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Department will introduce 'Jammu Darshan' bus service soon in the state to promote tourism among the visitors coming here from across the country.
''To bring untouched tourist destinations on the tourism map, an initiative has been taken by the state tourism department under which 'Jammu Darshan' bus service will be launched soon,'' Mr Ajay Khajuria, Director of the Tourism Department, Jammu, told UNI at the sidelines of a press conference this afternoon.
Mr Khajuria said thousands of tourists visited Jammu and Kashmir every year especially during the 'Amarnath Yatra', which was one of the peak seasons but many historical monuments, buildings and sightseeing areas go unnoticed as there was no appropriate mode of transportation to visit these places.
