New York, June 23 : Hugh Hefner is so addicted to sex that he once tried a foursome out on his own family, according to an upcoming book approved by the Playboy tycoon.
In "Mr. Playboy: Hugh Hefner and the American Dream," writer Steven Watts has revealed some shocking sexual escapades that Hefner experienced.
Watts writes that Hefner enlisted his first wife Millie, his own brother Keith, and his wife, Rae for a foursome, reports the New York Post.
"It did happen with his brother, Keith, and his wife, Rae, one evening. [But] while Millie ultimately backed out of having sex with Keith, Hugh slept with his sister-in-law," Watts writes in the book. he book also reveals how Hefner's penchant for multiple sex partners led him to enlist Millie, and Playboy co-founder Eldon Sellers for a series of steamy sexual encounters.
"One night after [Hugh] and Millie watched a stag film with Janie and Eldon Sellers, he suggested that the four of them make love on the same bed, each husband to his own wife. They did and in Sellers' words, 'It was different and exciting.' According to Millie, Hugh began to hint at switching partners, apparently suggesting it with the Sellerses, although the swap never materialized," Watts writes.
Watts also disclosed that the ageing porn mogul once had a sexual experience with another man.
"Hefner's thirst for sexual experience became so strong that he even had a one-time homosexual experience. One evening in downtown Chicago he was propositioned and, according to Sellers, he 'thought, what the hell. Found it an interesting experience. As far as I know, the guy just gave him [oral sex].' "
Hefner also once shot a porno starring himself called "After the Masquerade," the book reveals.
"It was shot at a friend's apartment where Hefner and a female acquaintance had sex while wearing masks," Watts writes. According to Hefner, he gave Watts access to personal documents before he penned the biography, hailing its authenticity.
"This is the most authoritative book ever written about me... It's all essentially true," Hefner said.
The book is scheduled for release in October (08).
