Gold December 08 contract up

Mumbai, Jun 23 (UNI) Gold December 08 contract went up by 0.51 per cent to Rs 12,694 per 10 grams, at the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) today.

Silver March 09 contract gained by 1.05 pet cent at Rs 25,227 per kg, while silver July 08 contract lost by 0.56 per cent to Rs 24357 per kg. Platinum September 08 contract shed 0.11 per cent to Rs 28,552 per 10 grams.

Aluminium August 08 contract rose by 1.09 per cent to Rs 134.70 per kg. Lead June 08 contract at Rs 79.20 per kg, shed 1.06 pc.

Nickel July 08 contract lost by 1.22 per cent to Rs 973 per kg. Zinc August 08 contract was down by 0.88 per cent to Rs 84.85 per kg.

Cardamom August 08 contract shrank by 2.20 per cent to Rs 611.75 per kg. Jute July 08 contract shed 1.26 per cent to Rs 1,601.50 per quintal.

Crude oil September 08 contract was up by 1.89 per cent to Rs 5,869 per barrel and cardamom July 08 contract was down by 2.50 per cent to Rs 683 per kg, an MCX release said.
