Comedy based on Bundela life

Bhopal, June 23 (UNI) 'Dondra Express', a comedy that showcases life in Bundelkhand region and will be ready by new year, is being shot entirely in a bus.

''The male lead is being played by Kamlesh who has starred in television series such as 'Koi Hai' and 'Kya Dil Mein Hai'. The female lead is being played by Renuka who was Miss Bhopal, 2006-07,'' vocalist, Congress leader and former minister Vitthalbhai Patel said at a press conference here today.

The 135-minute-long film, whose production cost is estimated at Rs 16 lakh, is being produced by Rakesh Manwani and directed by Vishnu Pathak.

The movie, with eight song sequences, has guest appearances by Ashutosh Rana, Govind Namdev and Mukesh Tiwari. Two of the songs were penned and sung by Patel and the rest sung by Mukesh Tak and Vaishali.
