Burney calls for probe into Indian prisoner's death in Pak jail
Islamabad, June 23 : The death of an Indian prisoner in a Karachi jail this morning, has prompted Pakistan's former human rights minister Ansar Burney to call for an inquiry.
Fisherman Bhagwan Das reportedly died of an electric shock at the Landhi jail.
Burney suggested, the incident took place in mysterious circumstances and has asked the authorities to investigate.
Several Indian fishermen arrested for illegally fishing in Pakistani waters are being held at Karachi's Landhi Jail.
