BKU protests non-payment of dues

Gonda, Jun 23 (UNI) The Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) city unit today called indefinite agitation in Collectorate office over non-payment of farmers' dues.

Hindustan construction company had taken agrarians land for national highway project, however, payment for the same was still awaited, BKU secretary Ganga Prasad Yadav said.

He said on May 22, district administration had assured the BKU that needful would be done at the earliest, however, no action had been taken.
