Lucknow, Jun 23 (UNI) As many as 20 people were killed and 29 injured in separate accidents across Uttar Pradesh today.
Four labourers were killed after a train hit a tractor-trolley at an unmanned railway crossing at village Pandoli in Saharanpur district, police said.
In Moradabad, five passengers were killed and six others injured after their truck fell into a gorge in Mudapandey area.
The accident occurred near Katghar bridge, where the speeding truck lost control over the wheels and fell into a gorge, police said.
While, in Fatehpur, two daily wage workers were electrocuted this morning, while repairing the power lines.
Reports from Agra also confirms the electrocution of two men in Keragarh area.
In Banda, two minor cousin brothers got drowned while bathing in a pond.
While, a bus conductor was killed and 20 passengers injured after the ill-fated vehicle turned turtle in Gautambudh Nagar.
Similarly, two people lost their lives in separate road accidents in Pratapgarh district, police added.
In Jaunpur, a 40-yr-old farmer got electrocuted after coming in contact of a live wire.
A man was charred, while two others sustained burns after a heap of crackers exploded in Wazeerganj area of Badaun district.
