Aurangabad, June 22 (UNI) Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Chief K C Sudarshan has said the western model of polity, adopted after Independence, is creating differences in the society.
Releasing the book, ''Dashpadi Samarastechi'' which is a compilation of the speeches made by ten presidents of the Samarasta Sahitya Sammelan, Mr Sudarshan said disputes arise among the people, who otherwise live in harmony, during the elections.
''Every community has been turned into a vote bank and this is proving to be a major hinderance for fostering social equality,'' he said.
''Talks must be held among different communities for creating social harmony. However, no such dialogues are held,'' he added.
