Bhubaneswar, Jun 21 (UNI) Several breaches between Bakhrabad-Narayangarh under Kharagpur-Bhadrak section of Howrah- Chennai main line following heavy rains and floods have forced the East Coast Railways (ECoR)to cancel as many as 64 trains and divert and terminate 82 trains for the next ten days.
A release issued by the ECoR here said the 8005/8006 Howrah- Koraput-Howrah Samaleswari Express,2871/2872 Howrah-Sambalpur-Howrah Ispat Express, 2831/2832 Ranchi-Bhubaneswar-Ranchi Garib Rath Express, 1JS/4JS Jharsuguda-Sambalpur-Jharsuguda Passenger, 333/334 Kantabanji-Jharsuguda-Kantabanji Passenger, 211/212 Puri-Rourkela -Puri Passenger, 8477/8478 Puri-Haridwar-Puri Utkal Express, 2815/2816 Puri-New Delhi-Puri Neelachal Express, 2875/2876 Puri-New Delhi-Puri Superfast Express, 2819/2820 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi- Bhubaneswar Orissa Sampark Kranti Express, 2887/2888/2895/2896 Howrah-Puri-Howrah Weeklies, 8409/8410 Howrah-Puri-Howrah Sri Jagannath Express, 8449/8450 Puri-Patna-Puri Baidyanathdham Express, 5639/5640 Puri-Guwahati-Puri Express, 2821/2822 Howrah-Bhubaneswar- Howrah Dhauli Express, 2073/2074 Howrah-Bhubaneswar-Howrah Jan Shatabdi Express, 2835/2836 Hatia-Yeshvantpur-Hatia bi-weekly Express and 2889/2890 Tata-Yeshvantpur-Tata weekly Express would remain cancelled from both the direction.
Special trains running between Guwahati and Yeshvantpur, Puri and Howrah, Howrah and Yeshvantpur and Howrah and Hyderabad will remain cancelled.
Similarly, passenger trains like Puri-Howrah-Puri,Kharagpur- Khurda Road-Kharagpur, Kharagpur-Balasore-Bhadrak-Kharagpur MEMU and Howrah-Bhadrak-Howrah Passenger will remain cancelled.
Most of these trains will remain cancelled till June 30, the release said.
