2-yr-old, woman killed in road accident

Jaunpur, Jun 21 (UNI) A two-year-old and her mother were crushed to death after coming under the wheels of a tanker in Khutan area here today.

Surendra Pal's wife Shyama Devi (25), along with her daughter and brother Suresh were heading towards her parental house in Kokana, when their motorcycle collided against a speeding tanker near Sarayansib village, police said.

The minor and her mother succumbed on the spot, whereas Suresh escaped with minor injuries.

Tanker driver fled the scene.

Police has sent the bodies for post-mortem.
