RSP demands resignation of PM and FM for rise in inflation

New Delhi, Jun 20 (UNI) The Revolutionary Socialist Party (RSP) has strongly condemmned the UPA governemnt for its total failure on the economic front to tackle inflation which has touched an all time high of 11.05 per cent for the week ended June 7, this year.

The party in a statement issued here today has said that Prime Minister DR Manmohan Singh and Finance Minister P Chidambaram must bear full responsibility for the current inflation flare-up and step down.

Alternatively, UPA chairperson and AICC president Sonia Gandhi should seek their resignation since they have proved incapable of tackling price rise, which would add to the miseries of the people, the release added.
