Munich, Germany, Jun 20 (UNI) Ace Indian golfer Jeev Milkha Singh fired two under 70 to be tied 31 after the first round in the BMW International Open here.
Jeev's compatriots and fellow PGTI members Jyoti Randhawa and Shiv Kapur shot rounds of one under 71 to be placed tied 48th.
Jeev, the Bank Austria Golf Open champion, sank birdies on the second, third, sixth, 12th, 17th, 18th and dropped bogeys on the eighth, 13th, 14th, and 16th.
Randhawa's 71 saw him make birdies on the seventh, 15th, 18th and bogeys on the 12th and 14th while Shiv Kapur's first round was punctuated by birdies on the 14th, 18th, fourth, sixth and bogeys on the second, third, seventh.
However, the leader at the end of round one was Australia's Peter O'Malley at six under 66.
