Srinath appointed match referree for Scotland tri-series

Dubai, Jun 19 (UNI) Indian pace legend Javagal Srinath has been appointed match referee for the ODI tri-series between New Zealand, Ireland and hosts Scotland at Aberdeen from July 1 to 3.

Steve Davis and Paul Baldwin will be the on-field umpires during the series.

Meanwhile, Chris Broad will oversee the three-match one-day series when Canada plays host to Bermuda from June 28 to July 1.

The on-field umpires for those matches will be Gary Baxter Roger Dill.

There then follows three four-day ICC Intercontinental Cup matches, two in Canada and one in Bermuda.

From July 4 to 7, Baxter and Dill will stand in the match between last year's beaten finalist Canada and Bermuda at King City.

Dill will then head to Bermuda for the match with Scotland at the National Stadium in Hamilton where he will be joined by Shahul Hameed.

Meanwhile, Baxter will remain in Ontario for the game between Canada and Scotland from 16 to 19 July, again at King City. Shahul will be the other on-field umpire to stand in the match.
