Monsoon-related diseases claim five lives in Mumbai
Mumbai, Jun 19 (UNI) As many as five persons have died in the city due to monsoon-related diseases, with three persons succumbing to dengue and two from malaria, since the onset of monsoon early this month.
According to civic officials, 132 patients have been admitted for fever, 42 for gastroenteritis, three for dengue and 28 for malaria.
With this, the number of patients admitted to various civic-run hospitals in the city during last 24 hours has risen to 205, with majority of them being treated for fever.
