London, June 18 : An octogenarian woman not only had her home burgled by 'polite' thieves, but was also given a few pointers in safety by the robbers.
The burglars, who introduced themselves as Marc and Francois, took jewellery, and 200 pounds in cash from 82-year-old Simone Delapierre's villa in Belgium.
Before leaving however, they didn't forget to give her a hug and a peck on the cheek, reports the Mirror.
"We are Marc and Francois. We're friendly burglars and we won't assault you," Ms Delapierre quoted them, as saying to her.
And while she was left shaken by the incident, she added: "At least they gave me some good advice."
