Delhi CM thanks UD min for letting state govt authorise colonies

New Delhi, Jun 18 (UNI) Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit today thanked the Ministry of Urban Development for authorizing Delhi government to provisionally declare any colony as authorized subject to the completion of all formalities within a year from date of authorization.

Expressing her gratitude, Ms Dikshit reiterated that the state Government would leave no stone unturned for the development in unauthorized colonies in time-bound manner.

Ms Dikshit, who, along with her cabinet colleagues today met Union Urban Development Minister Jaipal Reddy to thank him and his ministry for reposing faith in the Delhi government, expressed confidence that this would help in speedy developmental works in unauthorized colonies.

The Chief Minister hoped that this would help in fulfilling the aspirations of Delhiites.
