Three killed in a lorry accident

Guntur, Jun 17: Three people were killed and one injured when a lorry in which they were travelling overturned near Piduguralla town in this district.

Police said the lorry carrying ironore was proceeding to Kakinada from Bellary in Karnataka, when the mishap occurred well past midnight.

Of the three deceased, two were identified as V Srinu(35) and T Khasim(43) of Kurnool district.

The bodies were sent to Narsaraopet Government hospital for post-mortem.

The injured was admitted to the Guntur General Hospital, police added.
