Ludhiana, June 17 : Security forces have seized explosives weighing about 25 kilograms in Ludhiana District of Punjab today.
The explosives were seized from two persons following a tip-off to the police, who have been arrested.
The connection of these people with some foreign agency cannot be ruled out, the police said.
They also said that the explosives were meant for possible use against Baba Ram Rahim Singh, the controversial chief of a Sikh sect Dera Sachha Sauda.
Security forces are on their toes apprehending militant strikes following last month's serial explosions in Jaipur.
