Scrutinise Hindu extremist organisations, demands NCP
Mumbai, Jun 17 (UNI) A day after the arrest of two Hindu radicals by the Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) officials for their alleged involvement in the bomb blast at a Thane theatre, NCP today demanded a thorough scrutiny of the Hindu extremist organizations and called for imposition of ban on them.
Speaking to media at the party's office, NCP spokesperson Madan Bafana said the outfits--Sanatan Prabhat and Hindu Jagran Manch -- had apparently perpetrated the bomb blast in Gadkari Rangayatan at Thane and were also behind planting of a bomb in a theatre at Navi Mumbai, which was detected before it blew off.
Lauding ATS for arrest of four people in the blast at Thane, he said the Hindu Jagran Manch was connected with the Sanatan Prabhat.
Both these organizations need to be checked thoroughly and action of banning such organizations needs to be taken immediately.
