Patrakar Sangh hails aid to kin of deceased scribes
Chandigarh Jun 17 (UNI) The Haryana Patrakar Sangh has welcomed the announcement made by Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda to give a financial assistance of Rs two lakh each to the next of kin of four deceased journalists.
The Chief Minister has announced a financial assistance of Rs two lakh each to the next of kin of three journalists of Rohtak Mahavir Jain, Mr Shahnaz Sheoran, Photographer Sushil Kumar and one journalist of Yamunanagar Vijay Malhotra.
Expressing gratitude to the Chief Miniser, Mr K B Pandit, President, Haryana Patrakar Sangh said that the present State Government had provided record financial assistance of Rs 22 lakh to the families of the deceased journalists.
Mr Pandit urged the Chief Minister to give financial assistance of Rs two lakh each to the families of deceased journalists Sanjay Bansal of Dainik Bhaskar, Uchana Jind, Asha Kundan of Punjabi Tribune, Hisar and Manmohan Dard of Dainik Ajit Samachar, Hansi also.
