Heavy rains affect train services in Orissa

Bhubaneswar, Jun 17 (UNI) Train services were today disrupted following heavy rains in West Bengal and North Orissa forcing the railway authorities to short terminate several trains.

East Coast Railway (ECoR) sources said 2821 Howrah-Bhubaneswar Dhauli Express will be short terminated at Kharagpur and will return as 2822 Bhubaneswar-Howrah Dhauli Express from Kharagpur to Howrah.

Similarly, the services of 2821/2822 Howrah-Bhubaneswar-Howrah Dhauli Express will remain cancelled between Kharagpur and Bhubaneswar from both directions.

The 2074 Bhubaneswar-Howrah Jan Shatabdi Express will be short terminated at Bhadrak and will return as 2073 Howrah-Bhubaneswar Jan Shatabdi Express from Bhadrak to Bhubaneswar.

The services of 2074/2073 Howrah-Bhubaneswar-Howrah Jan Shatabdi Express will remain cancelled between Bhadrak and Howrah from both the directions today.

The 8646 Hyderabad-Howrah East Coast Express will be short terminated at Bhadrak and will return as 8645 Howrah-Hyderabad East Coast Express from Bhadrak to Hyderabad. The 8646/8645 Hyderabad-Howrah-Hyderabad East Coast Express will remain cancelled between Bhadrak and Howrah from both the directions, ECor sources said.
