Groundnutseed, its oil rise; Refined palm oil declines

Mumbai, Jun 17 (UNI) Spot prices of groundnutseed and its oil inched up today on good export enquiries while refined palm oil fell on lack of demand by stockists, traders at the Bombay Commodity Exchange said.

In oils, groundnut oil and sunflower exp. ref. improved by Rs 5 per 10 kg. Rapeseed Ref and Rapeseed Exp rose by Rs 12 per 10 kg on renewed buying support.

However, refined palm oil fell by Rs 4 per 10 kg on lack of demand by stockists.

Among seeds (per quintal), groundnutseed and kardiseed increased by Rs 25 per quintal on speculative buying by stockists. Cstorseed Bombay and castorseed Hyderabad also went up by Rs 25 per quintal on reduced stock supply from stockists, traders said.

In De-oiled cakes (per tonnes), Kardi Extr and undec cottonseed went up by Rs 200 per tonnes on heavy demand from stockists, traders added.
