CBI says Krishna confessed to his involvement in double murder
New Delhi, Jun 17 (UNI) Talwars' compounder Krishna allegedly confessed to his involvement in the Aarushi-Hemraj murder, even as his lawyer vehemently refuted the CBI claims.
The CBI while seeking extension of Krishna's remand today told the court that he had made ''preliminary confession'' about his involvement in the Noida twin murder case.
Meanwhile, experts said Krishna's confession made (under Section 161) before an investigating police officer was not admissible before the court. Only those made (under Section 164) under oath before a court of law was acceptable.
On the CBI's plea, Krishna was sent to 6-day police custody remand by the Special Magistrate of the CBI Court in neighbouring Ghaziabad.
The CBI had sought another 11-day police custody remand for continuing the investigation.
Police had arrested Dr Rajesh Talwar, a noted dentist and father of 14-year-old Aarushi, who was murdered along with her servant Hemraj on the night of May 15-16 at her Sector 25 Jalvayu Vihar residence in Noida.
