Mumbai, Jun 17 (UNI) Police today arrested two more people in connection with the Thane auditorium bomb blast case, taking the total number of arrests to four.
The officers of Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) arrested Vikram Bhave and Santosh Angre this morning from Panvel at the instance of the two accused -- Mangesh Nikam and Ramesh Gadkari, who were arrested yesterday by ATS officials.
While confirming the arrest, a senior ATS officer said the arrested accused gave some vital information about the blast that can not be dissclosed at this juncture to the media as the matter is still under investigation.
The sources said during the investigation, it was revealed that a low-intensity crude bomb, which was placed in the Gadkari auditorium's parking lot, was assembled at Bhave's residence in Panvel. The blast that occurred on June four before the start of Marathi play 'Amhi Pachpute' caused injuries to seven people.
Both Nikam and Gadkari were later remanded to police custody till June 24.
