Two drowned in Kashmir
Srinagar Jun 16 (UNI) Two people drowned and three others were rescued in an unconscious state in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said today.
They said four people fell into a well at Drang Pushroo Achabal in south Kashmir district of Anantnag.
One of them, identified as Bashir Ahmad Wani, died before the villagers could rescue him, they said, adding three others were however, rescued but they were unconscious.
They were later admitted to the hospital.
A teenager identified, as Mohammad Yaseen drowned in the Dal Lake near Nehru Park. Later, the body was fished out from the Lake and handed over to his family members.
