South West monsoon weak over Kerala
Thiruvananthapuram, Jun 16: Rain occurred only at a few places in Kerala as the South West monsoon was weak over the state, the Local Met office said here.
It said one cm of rain each was recorded at Aluva and Chittoor.
Rain or thundershowers would occur at a few places in the state and at isloated places in Lakshwadeep, it added.
It also warned of strong onshore winds from Westerly direction, speed occasionally reaching 45-55 kmph, likely along Kerala coast and over Lakshadweep during the next 24 hours.
