Hyderabad, Jun 16 (UNI) For the first time in the country, the IT and Communications Department in Andhra Pradesh has created a website exclusively for Government Orders.
Speaking to reporters here today, the IT and Communications Department Secretary Suresh Chanda said the computer will allot a number for a particular GO and puts the same in public domain, except those classified as 'secret GOs'.
The site goir.ap.gov, concerning all Government departments, would provide all information relating to GOs issued from time to time.
From July 1, the state gazette notification would also be provided on website to enable the people to view them free of cost.
Citizens by accessing the site could view files, orders, status of applications and also file notings by the officers concerned.
Those who did not not have access to internet could telephone to tollfree number 1100, he added.
