GGP to contest from all 230 seats in MP
Jabalpur, Jun 16 (UNI) Gondwana Ganatantra Party (GGP) President Hira Singh Markam today said the party would field candidates on all the 230 seats in the upcoming Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections.
Mr Markam told newspersons here that the GGP would not enter into electoral alliance with any party.
Alleging that state ministers were sunk in corruption, he said the government had not provided land deeds to a single tribal despite implementation of the Scheduled Tribes and Other Traditional Forest Dwellers (Recognition of Forest Rights) Act, 2006, by the Centre.
Lashing out at the Centre for rising inflation, Mr Markam said it has become difficult for poor to survive. Farmers were not getting adequate price for their produce and wages of labourers had not increased despite rising inflation.
