50 varieties of mangoes at display in Reliance Mango Festival
Rajkot, Jun 16 (UNI) More than 50 varieties of both exotic as well as premium varieties of mangoes, grown at the green belt of Reliance Refinery complex near Jamnagar, are being displayed at the Mango festival in Reliance Mart.
The festival that commenced at Reliance Mart in Jamnagar yesterday, will go on till tomorrow.
Reliance has planted more than 1,02,000 mango trees in the green belt in its Refinery complex near Jamnagar, a release issued here said.
These mangoes were grown with minimum use of chemical pesticides anf fertilizers, the release said. There are more than 1,000 mango varieties grown in India and at Reliance Agro, more than 110 varieties are grown, which includes 16 exotic and 25 new mango hybrids released by various agriculture Universities in India, the release said.
