Two bodies recovered in Dimapur
Kohima, Jun 15: The Dimapur police recovered two dead bodies from separate areas of Dimapur, both of which are suspected to be insurgency-related cases.
Official sources said here today that on receiving information, Dimapur police recovered a body near Chathe River in Third Mile are of the town yesterday.
The victim was identified as one Chuba Phom, a 'leacy' in the GPRN/NSCN.
He was reportedly abducted from Model village and later killed in the area.
In a separate incident, Dimapur West Police Station personnel recovered the body of one Amlish Shah from Bihar, who was a vegetable vendor, from Nepali Kashiram village at the outskirts of Dimapur town.
The victim bore a single bullet injury on his head.
After necessary formalities, police handed over the bodies to their relatives, the sources said.
