{image-pakistan flag_15062008.jpg news.oneindia.in}Islamabad, June 15 : The Pakistan People's Party led coalition government has earned the wrath of its coalition partners for its callous attitude towards restoration of the deposed judges.

Despite claims of parliamentary sovereignty, the judges were not being restored. If the issue is left to the collective wisdom of the House, it would be resolved within a day, said Ayaz Amir, leader of the Pakistan Muslim League -Nawaz(PML-N). No constitutional package was required by the country and if an in-camera session of the House was summoned, the issue would be resolved by evening, Amir added. Expectations of people were diminishing day-by-day after the February 18 mandate, he said.

The PML-N legislators also lauded the lawyers, civil society and political workers for taking out a long march for reminding the parliament to fulfill its commitment to send General (retired) Pervez Musharraf home and restore the deposed judges for the independence of the judiciary, The News reported.

Former Education Minister Ahsan Iqbal congratulated Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani for keeping his cool during the march on Friday, as it passed out without any untoward incident. It was a display of political maturity of the people of Pakistan, he said.
