London, Jun 15 : Queen of Pop Madonna has turned to the head of her Kabbalah group in a bid to save her crumbling marriage to Guy Ritchie.
Madge and Ritchie are going through a marriage crisis in which both have stopped communicating with one another and rabbi Rav Philip Berg has been acting as the go-between for them.
It seems the seven-year marriage is in such a bad state that they no longer talk even at the dinner table.
"Things are in a bad way. Rather than speak to her directly, Guy will ask their son Rocco to ask Madge to pass the salt during dinner," News Of The World quoted a source close to the singer as revealing.
In order to save the floundering marriage, 49-year-old Madge turned to the rabbi to mediate with 39-year-old Ritchie.
"There's a growing tension and the children are finding it enormously difficult to deal with. Of course both parents want to protect the little ones," the source said.
"So Madge has asked Rav Berg to help guide her and Guy through the choppy waters.
"He's always been on hand to advise Madonna. She has deep respect for his opinion," the source added.
Friends of the couple say that the two have been leading increasingly separate lives, they have different interests, keep separate bedrooms and rarely support each other in public.
In February, Guy snubbed the Berlin launch of Madonna's debut as a movie director in Filth And Wisdom and days later, he missed her big Oscars party and a New York fundraiser.
"It really hurt Madonna that Guy failed to show up to these events," the source stated.
"He just hasn't taken as much interest as he once did in what she's doing.
"Right now they've fallen out of love. Rav Berg's job is to help them decide if it's worth making a go of things," the source added.
