We will wait till June 30: Uddhav
Nashik, Jun 14 (UNI) Shiv Sena executive president Uddhav Thackeray today said his party would wait till June 30, regarding the loan waiver to farmers.
''We will wait till June 30, the date given by the Maharashtra government to release the list of beneficiaries or eligible farmers, who will get the benefit of the loan waiver scheme announced by the Union Government. It will reveal the government's true nature. If the farmers are not fully satisfied, we will not keep quiet after that,'' Uddhav said while addressing a public rally here.
He said the people should be prepared to snatch justice, if they are not getting it with folded hands.
On the supply of fertilisers and seeds, the Sena leader said his party will stage intense agitations across the state if the supplies would not be regularised.
Uddhav was here to inaugurate some development works in Ward No 80 of the Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC). Two Independent corporators of the NMC -- Sudhakar Badgujar and Govardhan Gaud -- entered the Sena along with their supporters on the occasion.
Earlier, in an interaction with journalists, Uddhav said the 'Navvadhu' (newly-wed bride) concept was originally of Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh and added that the issue was not worth a reaction.
