Saina crashes out from Singapore Open

Singapore, Jun 14 (UNI) The Indian challenge came to an end as the National champion Saina Nehwal crashed out in the semi-finals of Singapore Open Super Series here today.

Saina displayed superb fight before gowing down to Mi Zhou of China 17-21, 21-19, 21-11.

The Indian shuttler grabbed the lead by winning the first game brilliantly, however, fifth seed Zhou got the better and wins the next two games easily.

Zhou will clash second seed Tine Rasmussen of Denmark in the final, who thrased fourth seeded Mew Choo Wong of Malaysia in straight games in the other semi-final.
