Singapore, Jun 13 (UNI) India's Saina Nehwal displayed superb form to stun Firdasari Adrianti of Indonesia in a hard fought quarterfinal clash at the Singapore Open Super Series here today.
Saina took 47 minutes to overpower the giant-killing Indonesian 21-16, 16-21, 21-14 to cement her place in the semifinals.
Saina grabbed the lead after a hard fought battle in the first set but Adrianti beat her in the second to level the scores.
Saina then won the decider to emerge victorious.
The Indian will now take on fifth seed Mi Zhou of Hong Kong in the semis for a place in the finals.
