Hisar, Jun 13 (UNI) Deputy Chairman of Haryana Planning Board and defeated candidate of Adampur byelection, Ranjit Singh today blamed his defeat on delay in launch of the Congress poll campaign and sabotage of the electioneering by some party leaders.

''I have brought this to the notice of the high command and HPCC chief,'' said, Ranjit Singh while talking to newspersons here.

''Had we jumped into the fray 20 days earlier, the situation would have been reverse. The number of votes I have secured has caused flutter in Bhajan Lal camp. They could never imagine that I would achieve this position in the contest'', he said.

He stressed that he would keep in touch with the people of his constituency and listen to their grievances every Tuesday and get them redressed at the earliest.

Ranjit Singh disclosed, ''Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, HPCC chief Phool Chand Mullana, working president Kuldip Sharma and other senior leaders would address the 'Dhanyavad Rally' at Adampur on June 15.

''The problems of water and power are main grievances of the people and Chief Minister would solve their problem soon,'' he said.
