Maoist ultras kill two activists in Bihar
Lakhisarai, Jun 13: Armed Maoist ultras today murdered two CPI activists by attacking them with lethal weapons at Sheetlakorasi village under Budhaulibankar Panchayat of the district.
Police said the ultras killed CPI district council members Tanik Koda and Tuntun Koda probably for ''disobeying their orders.'' A few months ago, the extremists had ordered both the victims to join their outfit. However, Tuntun Koda and Tanik Koda refused following which the Maoists attacked the village and killed the duo.
On showing resistance, the extremists also assaulted the villagers, police said.
The ultras left pamphlets on the spot before fleeing that read, ''The police informers will have to face dire consequences.''
