Co-pilot remanded to police custody till June 19
Mumbai, Jun 13 (UNI) The metropolitan magistrate court today remanded Arjun Menon, an Indigo Airlines co-pilot, to police custody till June 19 in connection with the suicide case of air hostess Sucheta Anand.
Menon (30), was arrested last evening on charges of abetting suicide of the air hostess, who was found hanging in a room of Hotel Palm Grove in western suburb on Sunday last.
According to police, Menon was the last person to meet Sucheta in hotel on the fateful day.
Sucheta, who had filed divorce petition in Delhi was a good friend of Menon, a divorcee himself. Both had a heated argument over marriage issue in the hotel room, following which Sucheta hanged herself, police said.
Sucheta's borther Manish Anand , had registered a compliant, suspecting the role of Menon in the suicide.
