Bhupathi-Bopanna get 2nd round bye in Artois championships

London, Jun 13 (UNI) Indian tennis ace Mahesh Bhupathi and his doubles partner Rohan Bopanna entered the quarterfinals of the euro 713,000 Artois Championships here after being gifted a bye in the second round.

The Indian duo, who had got a walkover in the opening round also, were due to play Fernando Gonzalez of Chile and Ecuadorean Nicolas Lapentti in round two.

They will take on the second seeded pair of Daniel Nestor of Canada and Nenad Zimonzic of Serbia in the last eight stage.
