Abhidyeka Abhishekam from June 16 at Tirumala
Tirupati, June 13 (UNI) The annual 'Abhidyeka Abhishekam' to Lord Venkateswara will be performed at Tirumala from June 16 to 18.
All arrangements have been made for the festival and all 'Arjita Sevas', except for 'Vasanthotsavam', would stand cancelled during the festival, TTD said in a release here today.
Lord Malayappa Swamy, along with his consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi, would be taken out in a procession to mark the temple festival.
The Lord would be adorned with 'Visesha Vajra Kavacham' (armour) on the first day of the event and 'Muthangi Sarpana' would be made to the deities, besides performing rituals of 'Satha Kalasa Thirumanjanam' and 'Abhidyeka Abishekam', the release added.
