Virgin Mobile launches new handset at Rs 4,799

{image-virgin mobile_12062008.jpg news.oneindia.in}New Delhi, June 12: Targeting the younger generation, Virgin Mobile today unveiled a new ultra slim CDMA handset -- vSleek priced at Rs 4,799.

The handset, a product of Tata Teleservices, has features such as FM, camera, MP3 and memory card is available with lifetime validity voucher, a starter user kit and 2,000 minutes' free local calls to any network. The 2,000 free minutes, spread over five months, will be credited into the account of customers at the rate of 400 minutes every month and will come with a validity of 30 days from the date of credit, a company statement said. The Micro SD card in the handset gives users the option to store up to two GB of data, including songs and games. It also has a 32 MB flash memory, eight MB SRAM and five MB user memory.

The product will be available at 15,000 outlets across the country, including the modern retail outlets-- The Mobile Store, RPG Cellucom, Univercell, Croma, Convergem and Mobile NXT.
