Chhatarpur, (MP), Jun 12 (UNI) Minister of state for Home and Transport Ramdayal Ahirwar's son Laxmichand and two others were arrested for vandalism and misbehaving with a police officer of Maharajpur in this district of Madhya Pradesh five days ago.
Besides Laxmichand, Brijesh Chourasia and Alladin were arrested yesterday and immediately they were released on a bond of Rs 5,000 each.
The arrests were made after investigating into the incident by Inspector Hari Singh Raghuvanshi, police sources said.
Laxmichand and his associates barged into the residence of Maharajpur Station House Officer H R Pande on the night of June 7 after the latter declined to arrange vehicles for the reception of Mr Ahirwar, who was recently inducted into Shivraj Singh Chouhan's Cabinet.
Besides damaging vehicles, the attackers also misbehaved with the SHO, who escaped unhurt as the assailants fled after the police officer took out his revolver.
The incident came in for wide condemnation and Mr Ahirwar took over the charge later.
