Ex-gratia relief for 87 militancy-affected families in south Kashmir
Srinagar, Jun 12 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir government today sanctioned Rs 51 lakh as ex-gratia relief in favour of 87 militancy-affected families in south Kashmir district of Pulwama.
An official spokesman said the District Screening Committee (DSC) met under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner, Pulwama and took up the cases of militancy affected families.
He said the DSC sanctioned Rs 51 lakh as ex-gratia relief in 87 militancy cases of varied nature. These include Rs 31 lakh in 51 death cases, Rs 3.63 lakhs in 22 injury cases and Rs 16.69 lakh in 34 property damage cases.
